Tried & True Tails offers the following personalized services:
Breed Matching — Personalized consultations to help identify breeds that best fit your lifestyle and goals.
Breeder Referral — Referrals to breeders we believe follow ethical and health-conscious breeding practices.
Rescue Support — Assistance in identifying and reaching out to rescues that may have dogs fitting your preferences.

We make every effort to provide honest, research-backed, and experience-informed guidance. However:
Final decisions rest with the client. We are not responsible if a client ultimately chooses a breed, breeder, or rescue dog that does not align with their expectations.
We are not liable for outcomes related to health, temperament, training, or future behavior of any dog.
We do not guarantee the practices or conduct of any breeder or rescue organization. We strongly encourage clients to perform their own due diligence before entering into any contract or agreement.

We do our best to refer clients to breeders and/or rescues who:
Health test their breeding dogs
Take structure into account when looking at health
Prioritize suitable temperaments through genetic choices, proper socialization, and care
Avoid overbreeding
Do not contribute to the growing shelter population through contractual agreements with their puppy buyers
Operate with transparency and integrity
Keep dogs in comfortable, safe, and cleanly living conditions
Tried & True Tails does not knowingly support or collaborate with puppy mills, backyard breeders, or unreputable rescues.

Clients agree to:
Complete all intake forms truthfully and thoroughly
Be open to feedback and breed suggestions, even if they differ from initial assumptions
Use any breeder or rescue referral responsibly and perform follow-up vetting as needed
Be responsive to contact attempts

All information shared with Tried & True Tails is treated with confidentiality. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or at your request (e.g., when making a referral).

Payment is due at the time of booking and work will not begin until payment is received.
Due to the personalized nature of our services, full refunds are not available once work has begun.
In rare cases where a service cannot be completed due to external limitations or service is not satisfactory, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
